Claws Of Power has not run a named battle pass. This URL used to claim a Royal season and a Scarlet Veil season. Those names are not in Steam news. The page now holds the real limited-time and demo events so the old link still works.
March 17, 2026 — free trial enrichment
Trial notes that became the spine of the full game:
- Main-city talents (battle EXP, auto base HP, gold to activate).
- Mercenaries after repeated challenge failures.
- Meow Mine (summon a Boss to assist).
- New character A-Dai.
- Chapters 1 and 2 rearranged.
- White damage-reduction aura for melee teammates.
- Windowed mode and custom resolution.
If your muscle memory still matches an older demo layout, this is why. Guides that mention the current Chapter 1 secret assume the rearrange already happened.
Steam Next Fest — demo major update
To celebrate Next Fest the demo gained:
- First secret stage in Chapter 1, unlocking Cook.
- Endless Duanzang on the Boss Stage — endless waves, in-run upgrades, one-time items.
Cook is still the only hidden companion with a documented door. Jimmy and Spring Roll were named later, at launch eve. Endless Duanzang is the ancestor of the live Endless Boss tier-up fix. See How to Unlock Hidden Stages and Lord Challenge.
August 7, 2026 — demo update now live
Hand of God, Thick Iron Armor, opening story cutscene, complete idle system, complete save system, multilingual support, rebalanced difficulty, UI effects, bug fixes, Steam Cloud Save. That is the build that made the demo feel like the product.
August 19–22, 2026 — launch week “events”
Not a season. A commercial window:
- 6 regions, 93 stages, 44 Hard Mode stages at no extra cost.
- Launch price ¥22 / $5.59 (20% off ¥28 / $6.99) through September 4, 2026. The sale is over.
- Hidden companions: Cook, Jimmy, Spring Roll, via combat, fishing, and mini-games.
- Mini-bosses: Duancang, Degumiao, Father.
The “1 DAY UNTIL BATTLE” post is the hidden-companion hunt. The “2 Days” post is the boss roster. The “3 days” post is the region list. Together they are the launch event. They do not reset in October.
What this is not
- No season pass SKU on Steam.
- No exclusive seasonal cat named Birman or Magenta.
- No tournament bracket or gem prize pool.
- No weekly chest tied to MMR.
If Garlic Sprouts ever runs a dated festival, it will get a dated heading on this page and a bullet on Release notes. Until then, the limited-time thing you missed is the launch discount, not a veil cosmetic.
Still useful after the sale
Demo remains a free taste. Cloud saves, idle, and multilingual UI shipped in the demo update and carried into 1.0. Hard Mode and Midas Touch are the ongoing “event” for gold — they are permanent systems, documented on Hard Mode.
