Claws Of Power Campaign Walkthrough

Meow Island’s 93 standard levels, the named regions, and the three mini-bosses from the launch posts.

Last updated:

The August 19, 2026 Steam post is the source for the campaign size: 6 regions, 93 standard levels, then 44 Hard Mode levels after you finish the main story. The price reveal post also mentions 3 hidden stages and 3 mini-bosses. This page is a route through that structure. It does not invent shrine names, waterfall dungeons, or a “second island at stage 8.”

The video below is a full no-commentary playthrough of Claws Of Power. Use it when a stage layout is easier to see than to read.

The four named regions

Steam’s launch countdown named four battlefield moods. The other two regions exist in the “6 regions” count but were not given English labels in that post, so we do not guess them.

  • Swamp — damp, shadowy. Expect slower pushes and fights where holding the line near your base matters more than a long march.
  • Desert — windswept. Open space makes piercing shots from Solo and pebble volleys from A Qiang more valuable; Masashi’s teleport (ninja cat) can skip a stretched frontline.
  • Snowfield — frozen. Xuebao (Snowball) shows up in the August 29 notes as a unit that must collide with Father in phase two, so snow content ties into the final trial.
  • City — danger-filled streets. Manholes appear in the August 29 and “Update Notice” patches (Genji units dying after entering a manhole, health bars not hiding in manholes). Watch the floor, not only the lane.

Treat each region as a new enemy roster, not a new genre. The win condition never changes: break the enemy base with dried-fish summons.

Three mini-bosses named before launch

The “2 Days Until Battle” Steam post names the personalities you fight on the way to the end:

  • Duancang — blade is sharp, tongue is sharper. Even in defeat he will not admit he lost. Demo notes also added Endless Duanzang, a boss-stage survival mode with upgrades and one-time items during the run.
  • Degumiao — proud, obsessed with cleanliness. He does not mind a fight; keep his clothes clean is the joke. Read him as a precision fight, not a sponge.
  • Father — “the true final boss — and the ultimate trial you must overcome.” The August 29 patch fixed Snowball failing to collide with Father in phase two, which confirms a multi-phase Father fight.

A separate TapTap post shows a later-stage vampire boss cat: bats fuse into a huge vampire that fires a black energy orb and calls lightning. That is a themed lord-style encounter, not a fourth named mini-boss from the countdown post. See Lord Challenge.

How to move through the 93

  1. Chapters 1–2. The March 17 trial notes rearranged these chapters and added A-Dai. Play them as the tutorial for cost and knockback. Xiao Fu’s always-on knockback is the tool the developer highlighted for early 1v1s.
  2. Mid campaign (around stage 30). If you stall, do not buy random cats. Re-read How to Beat Level 30 and check whether you are fighting too far from your base.
  3. Secret corners. The Next Fest demo update hid the first secret stage in Chapter 1 and unlocked Cook. The launch-eve post says three companions hide across the map behind combat, fishing, and mini-games: Cook, Jimmy, Spring Roll. Details sit on How to Unlock Hidden Stages.
  4. Shop unlock. The August 26 patch gives the Garrison Whistle when you unlock the Shop. Do not skip that item; the developer’s own build post treats Hold Position Whistle as a way to keep low-HP survivors for the next wave.
  5. Stage 7 equipment. August 26 added Clone Shovel on Stage 7. After enough attacks it can spawn a clone. Grab it on the way through; do not backtrack later expecting a different drop table than the patch described.

After the credits

Steam is explicit: finishing the game is not the end. You unlock 44 Hard Mode levels at no extra cost. The August 23 patch doubled Hard Mode gold. Pair that with Midas Touch (enemies drop twice as much gold) from the same patch. Route for that farm is on Hard Mode.

Lord Challenge remains available whenever you feel ready; it is not gated in the store copy by a specific stage number, so this wiki does not invent “unlocks at 20.” Endless Duanzang is the named endless boss mode from the demo notes and still appears in live patches as “Endless Boss.”

What we will not fake on this page

No per-stage enemy lists unless Steam or a playthrough names them. No XP tables. No “clear stage 8 to open island two.” If you need a visual of the whole run, watch the embedded walkthrough, then jump to the World map for the region list and to Release notes for every numbered change after launch.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Fast answers to the questions players ask most.

How many campaign stages are there?

93 standard levels in 6 regions, per the August 19, 2026 Steam announcement. Completing them unlocks 44 Hard Mode levels.

Who is the final boss?

Father. The pre-launch Steam post calls him the true final boss. The August 29 patch also confirms a phase-two collision with Snowball (Xuebao).

Are the three mini-bosses the same as hidden stages?

No. Mini-bosses are Duancang, Degumiao, and Father. Hidden stages and hidden companions (Cook, Jimmy, Spring Roll) are a separate launch tease.
