Claws Of Power Controls

This page lists the default Claws Of Power controls on PC, Steam Deck, and controller. Every binding is remappable via Options > Controls.

On Steam Deck, the game is officially verified as “Playable” and supports both the native mode (touch interface) and desktop mode.

PC — keyboard and mouse

• Move leader cat — WASD / arrow keys (Combat).
• Basic attack — Left click (Combat).
• Signature ability — Space (Combat).
• Dash — Shift (Combat).
• Pause / Tactical menu — Esc (Combat).
• Inventory — I (Out of combat).
• World map — M (Out of combat).
• Profile — P (All contexts).
• Text chat — T (Multiplayer).
• Quick chat (1-5) — Keys 1 to 5 (Multiplayer).
• Screenshot — F12 (All contexts).

Steam Deck — recommended bindings

• Move — Left stick / Left trackpad (Combat).
• Camera / target — Right stick / Right trackpad (Combat).
• Basic attack — Right trigger (RT) (Combat).
• Signature ability — A button (Combat).
• Dash — B button (Combat).
• Pause / Tactical menu — Start button (Combat).
• Inventory — Y button (Out of combat).

Controller (Xbox / PlayStation)

Remapping controls

Every binding is remappable. To reconfigure:

1. Open Options from the main menu.
2. Select the Controls tab.
3. Click the action to remap, then press the new key.
4. Validate with Apply.

Profiles are saved per Steam account and synced via Steam Cloud if the option is on.

Accessibility options

Several options ease the use:

• Colour-blind mode: 3 profiles (protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia).
• Font size: 3 levels (normal, large, extra large).
• High contrast: activates a UI mode tuned for dark screens.
• Vibration: intensity adjustable from 0 to 100%.
• Aim assist: auto-target the closest enemy (useful on controller).

The default bindings are tuned for competitive play. Casual players often prefer remapping the dash to a mouse side button for ergonomics.
