Claws Of Power PC & Steam Deck specs

Claws Of Power is a Windows Unity build. SteamDB’s launch option is the executable 喵咪争霸.exe. There is no Mac depot and no native Linux depot. If a mirror lists an Apple Silicon crash hotfix, it is talking about a different game.

Numbers below are the live Steam store requirements for app 3998900, checked September 5, 2026. The demo page (4108190) prints the same CPU/GPU lines. One demo field says “4 MB RAM” on the minimum row; the full game correctly says 4 GB. Treat 4 GB as the real floor.

Steam’s own client footnote on the demo page still warns that from 1 January 2024 the Steam Client only supports Windows 10 and later. You can meet the game’s Win7 line and still fail to run Steam. Plan on Windows 10 if you are buying today.

This is a hand-drawn 2D lane battler, not a ray-traced open world. The recommended GPU is a 2012-era card. If the game stutters, check game speed (saved since August 26) and windowed mode before you buy a new GPU.

Display, window, and speed (real patches)

• Windowed mode and custom resolution — March 17, 2026 trial update. Use this on a second monitor or an ultrawide that fullscreen stretched badly.
• Selected game speed is saved — August 26, 2026.
• Secret levels no longer inherit 3× speed — August 27, 2026. If a hidden stage is still stuck at triple speed, update.
• Click an equipment slot to replace — August 25. UI, not a bind.
• Equipment shortcut on the map — launch-week Update Notice.

There is still no published rebind table. The game is mouse-driven: you spend dried fish, cats walk themselves. Details: Controls.

Steam Deck

SteamDB recorded a Playable Deck test on 24 August 2026 (build 24901483): default controller configuration reaches all functionality, default graphics perform well, some on-screen glyphs still look like mouse/keyboard, some in-game text is small, SteamOS compatibility Compatible, and single-player does not require internet.

That is Playable, not Verified. Third-party aggregators still showed “Unknown” days later. Expect to tap small Chinese-or-English UI. The build is Windows Unity through Proton, not a native Deck skin.

Cloud, languages, and a language-setting bug

• Steam Cloud is a store category. August 7 demo notes added Cloud Save. SteamDB user-file quota: 10 MB / 16 files.
• Full-game languages (interface + subtitles): English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese-Brazil, Spanish-Latin America.
• Demo languages: English and Simplified Chinese only.
• August 23, 2026 fixed units that would not attack under certain language settings. If cats idle after you switch UI language, update before you blame the CPU.

What you do not need

You do not need a 12-core CPU, ray tracing, or an always-on internet session for the campaign. Steam categories are Single-player, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing. There is no anti-cheat kernel listed on the store page.

Price is a $6.99 / ¥28 premium title. The 20% launch discount ended 4 September 2026. Specs did not change with the sale.
