Claws Of Power S-tier — November 2026
The 5 cats that dominate the current meta. If you only farm one, make it one of these five.
Tier S gathers the cats that change the meta on their own. A single one of these, placed well, can push a mid deck into a competitive one.
If you are starting out and need a first long-term target, aim for one of these five.
The five S-tier cats
Sapphire (9.7/10)
- Role: Buffer / Hybrid DPS
- Summary: His Royal Gleam ability grants a stackable damage buff up to +300% after 8 seconds of combat. The heart of buff-meta decks.
- How to farm: Unlocks through the “Golden Throne” quest series, available at level 20.
Magenta (9.5/10)
- Role: Magic AoE DPS
- Summary: Chain spells hit up to 4 targets at 60% of the main damage. With his passive penetration, ignores 25% of enemy magic resistance.
- How to farm: Rare drop from weekly dungeons at level 40+.
Onyx (9.3/10)
- Role: Offensive tank
- Summary: Takes damage and hits hard. His Black Claw ability stuns the target for 2 seconds — perfect for breaking the enemy front line.
- How to farm: Legendary quest “Veil of Shadow”, level 35.
Persian (9.2/10)
- Role: Support / heal
- Summary: Area heal that restores 15% of max HP per second for 6 seconds. Essential on long boss fights.
- How to farm: Quest series “Royal Lineage”, level 25.
Bengal (9/10)
- Role: Physical single-target DPS
- Summary: Highest pure physical damage in the game. No side effects, just brute force.
- How to farm: Common drop at level 30+ but needs gems for the ultimate fusion.
Here are the strongest combinations in November 2026:
- Sapphire + Persian + 3 buffs — Sapphire’s buff stacks with Persian’s, giving theoretically unlimited damage ceilings on long fights.
- Magenta + 4 AoE supports — Magenta’s chain spells multiplied by area amplifiers.
- Onyx + 4 physical DPS — “rush” combo: Onyx stuns, Bengal and the rest clean up in 3 seconds.

What tier S means
Tier S is reserved for cats that change the meta by themselves. A single one of these, placed well, can push a mid deck into a competitive one. They are the cats you invest long-term resources in first.
How we test tier-S claims
Every cat listed here was tested on the dummy boss at level 50 with full talents and a standardised support setup. We measured sustained damage over a 90-second window. The cats on this page each scored within the top 5% of all tested cats in their role.
When to ignore the tier list
If you already own a strong tier-A cat that synergises perfectly with your deck, do not chase a tier-S just because the tier list says so. The tier list is a guide, not a rule. Build around what you have, then optimise.
Each of the five cats here has a dedicated wiki section in the Full cat list if you want deeper stats and ability details.
When this list changes
The S-tier list gets reshuffled within 48 hours of any major patch that touches melee or ranged DPS. Hotfixes rarely trigger a reshuffle unless they touch a passive trigger chance by more than 10 percent. The list is intentionally short — five cats — because every cat beyond the fifth carries diminishing returns. If a sixth cat moves into S-tier, it means one of the current five has slipped and the list gets a single swap, not a six-cat lineup.
What “S-tier” means here
S-tier on this wiki means: clears every level up to 40 without item swaps, with at least one tank alive at the end of the run. Anything below S-tier fails at least one of those three checks on a free-to-play loadout. The list is built around the free-to-play constraint because the paid version of the game is rarely a meaningful upgrade until you reach the second island.
Frequently Asked Questions
Fast answers to the questions players ask most.
Can these cats be beaten in endgame content?
Yes — there are strategies for every boss that do not rely on tier S. Tier S shines mostly in competitive meta and high-level dungeons.
Should I build all tier-S cats?
No. Two of them cover 90% of the content. Sapphire is the most versatile; we recommend it as the first target.
Can a legendary cat be tier A?
Yes. Rarity does not define the tier list. Several rare cats are in tier B because their abilities are too specialised.
