Quick start

New to the game? Start here for a clear first hour.

  1. 01

Collect three roles before upgrading anything

In your first twenty minutes, line up one melee, one ranged, and one support cat. Skip premature upgrades until those three roles are in place — this is the foundation the rest of the [Guides Hub](/guides/) assumes.

  2. 02

Push the Dried Fish Factory to level 2

The factory is your most leverage-heavy building. A single upgrade roughly doubles your income per second and lets you deploy three cats at once without starving the rest of your lineup.

  3. 03

Clear stage 8 before you log off

Stage 8 unlocks the second island. If you stop on stage 6 you lose the deployment tempo when you come back and start over on strategy the next session.

  4. 04

Stick to the 4-2-1-1 deck mix

Four melee tanks, two ranged DPS, one support, one flex slot. This mix wins every fight from level 15 upward and is the layout the [Tier List](/tier-list/best-starter-deck/) recommends for the second island.

  5. 05

Test loadouts in the Deck Builder

Validate every deck change in the [Deck Builder](/tools/deck-builder/) before spending dried fish. It is free, runs offline, and saves you from bad swaps — read the walkthrough in [How to Build a Deck](/guides/how-to-build-a-deck/) for why.

FAQ

Wiki FAQ

Fast answers to the questions players ask most.

What is this wiki?

An independent, unofficial fan wiki for Claws Of Power — the real-time cat card battler by Garlic Sprouts that launched on Steam on August 21, 2026.

Is this an official wiki?

No. This resource is community-maintained. Always confirm announcements through the [official Steam page](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/Claws_Of_Power/) and the developer's community hub.

Which languages does this wiki support?

English, French, German, and Spanish. We dropped Simplified Chinese and Russian to focus efforts on the languages where wiki readers actively ask for help. The underlying game supports more languages — see the official Steam page for the game's full language list.

How do I embed a YouTube video on a guide page?

Add a youtubeId (a real 11-character ID) to the page's source JSON, or import the YouTubeEmbed component directly inside the MDX. The generate pipeline injects a single mid-article embed automatically — see [Getting Started](/guides/getting-started/) for the layout.

How do the header dropdowns work?

Each secondary nav category surfaces up to 8 entries in its dropdown. Anything beyond that triggers a "View all" link pointing to the hub page (for example, [Guides Hub](/guides/) or [Codes Hub](/codes/)).

How up to date is the data here?

The wiki refreshes on every source change. The freshness stamp in each title (e.g. (Aug 2026)) shows the live month/year. The [Updates Hub](/updates/) carries every patch we have reflected so far.
